Disappointing
We were under the impression that the women we have come to know as Pop Evil would be performing, but not so. The fiddler/violinist Mairead Nesbitt, known performer, was the only one we recognized. As always, her performances were captivating. We found the singing disappointing and lackluster, despite enjoying the band and dancers. The female vocalists did not meet the caliber we expect from Pop Evil, which was completely distracting and detracted from the evening. The supporting performers completely eclipsed the stars of the show. So unfortunate and disappointing. Had we known, we would never have paid to see this show.
